Founder & President
Partha has over 25 years of industry operating and investing experience at leading organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Dexcom, Sony, Netscape and IBM. He has brought multiple transformative medical and technology products to market.
Partha has launched 6 FDA-regulated medical products worldwide and managed portfolios which today serve over 7 million people and deliver over $20 billion in revenues annually. He launched the world's first real-time continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) product in the world, which is now included in the Smithsonian collection. CGM products have transformed diabetes care and currently serve over 5 million people and generate over $10 billion in annual revenues. Partha also led a $500M surgical products business at Johnson & Johnson, where he contributed to a robotic surgery JV with Google and published in the area of corporate medtech innovation.
Partha has over a decade of investing experience, including as director of medical device investing at RCT Ventures and as board director & chairman for the medical device group at Life Science Angels. Partha has invented and co-founded a company the area of interventional cardiology, and invented in the area of multi-analyte sensing for the management of chronic cardiometabolic conditions. He manages a portfolio of investments in private medical technology companies.
Partha started his career in high performance computing at IBM and developed foundational internet technologies at Netscape. He also helped scale a Sequoia-backed ecommerce startup to over 1k employees and a successful IPO.
Partha is a Biodesign Fellow from Stanford University, holds a MBA in Marketing & Finance from UCLA, and earned a BS in Electrical Engineering w Honors from Northwestern University.
